- Make it easy, comfortable and safe

- Make it fun experience (use fun looking soap pumps, etc.)

- Come up with a hand washing song so we keep soap on hands for 20 seconds (no ideas? “Happy Birthday” can do…)

- Prepare with your kid fun hand washing manual

- Lead by example!

- Create rituals and routines
